Coloring pages and activity ideas for my 10,000 days old party, themed as if we're celebrating 10,000 years ago! 

10,000 Years Old? Or 10,000 Days Old? 

Here I am if I was in my Hunter-Gatherer Era. 

At some point when you're 27, you reach 10,000 days on this earth. I discovered this concept back when I was teaching at 18 years old. I didn't want my students going home and sharing how young I was for fear their parents would judge (ah, the naviety of youth thinking they couldn't tell!) so I devised the genius plan to tell my students my age in days rather than years. 

It's a simple Google search of "How Many Days Since [Date of Birth]"

The Girls aren’t what they once were. But I’m not going to let the nostalgia for my pre-baby body get in the way of enjoying living with what I’m working with now. The messiness of body positivity means encouraging my friends to believe they’re beautiful exactly as they are. And watching them grow past 30, past pregnancy, and past the regular fluctuations that all women experience at any stage, you realize that our worth is not tied to our bodies. But it’s also really fun to feel hot.
